Update 20-August-2014! Since I’ve moved the site to Middleman I’m not really able to fully support this article any more. However if you’re using CakePHP and would like an easy, plug-in solution to show articles from your WordPress database in your CakePHP site, then I can still recommend my JDWordpress plugin.
